His middle name is Serge.
He has to wear prescription glasses because of a hockey injury.
His uniform top is often times sloppily tucked in.
He went 9-12, with a 5.01 ERA in his 43 starts in the majors.
The only save he blew in 2003 was at the All Star game, when he gave up a two-run home run to Hank Blalock.
He is tattooed.
During his 84 consecutive save streak, he blew a save against the AL All Star team (July 2003).

After blowing a save on August 26, 2002, he did not blow another save until he gave up 2 runs to Arizona (July 5, 2004).
