Why he might be annoying
He's known for the way he plays the fiddle.
He's obese.
His first major band, the Jaguars, went no where.
After years of being in the Jaguars, producer Bob Johnson suggested that Charlie call it quits and move to Nashville to become a session musician; he complied.
He made a guest cameo on Ringo Starr's 'Beaucoups of Blues.'
He formed the Charlie Daniels Band after the Allman Brothers became a big thing, using their popularity to work off of.
Why he might not be annoying
He was a member of various bands as a teenager.
His song, 'It Hurts Me,' was covered by Elvis Presley.
After becoming a session musician in Nashville, he found himself appearing on several Bob Dylan albums ('Nashville Skyline,' 'Self Portrait,' 'New Morning' and 'Dylan').
He's one of the more recognized country musicians.
To this day, the Charlie Daniels Band still draws a crowd when touring.
