Why he might be annoying:

Despite making money for several years, he could not get his own apartment, and his cousin had to buy him a winter coat.
He was tired of playing the same compositions over and over again.
He would get upset when the audience requested him to play the same pieces over again.
He was a vegetarian.
When he came to America he failed his driving test.

He was left handed.
His parents were wealthy, but went into financial difficult and most of Sergei's childhood was spent in poverty.
He graduated the Moscow Conservatory at a year old and received the Gold Medal.
