    He is a one-hit wonder in the US, where ‘Love Is in the Air’ was his only Top 40 hit.
    As a contestant on the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars, he was the first celeb voted off (2015).
    He had ten Top 20 hits in Australia and six in South Africa, including a pair of #1 hits.
    ’Love Is in the Air’ became a hit a second time when it was featured in Baz Luhrmann’s film ‘Strictly Ballroom’ (1992).
    He supports several children’s charities.
    He performed at the closing ceremonies of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
    He was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame (2009).
