The 1982 NHL Entry Draft was labeled the 'Brian Bellows Sweepstakes' from the start of the 1981-82 season.
Harry Sinden did not think highly of him and opted to take Gord Kluzak with the first overall pick.
He wears a toupee.
He failed to play a full season during his NHL career.
He was accused of diving during the 1991 Stanley Cup Finals.
The incident led to him getting taunted mercilessly by Kevin Stevens and Bryan Trottier.
He became a journeyman player after leaving the North Stars.
