Why he might be annoying:

    Twenty-five years after making 'Slap Shot,' he appeared in a direct-to-video sequel.
    He was arrested in Utica, New York, for going into the stands after a fan who threw a cup of ice at him.
    During a fight with Giles 'Bad News' Bilodeau, he grabbed the rinkside announcer's mike and started clubbing Bilodeau over the head with it.
    To make his punches more vicious, he would rough up the knuckles of his gloves with a file, lay them on a radiator until they were rock hard and 'make sure we fought on the first shift' before sweat softened the gloves up.

Why he might not be annoying:

    'Slap Shot' star Paul Newman said of him and the other Hanson Brothers, 'They were very professional and completely crazy.'
    He makes over three dozen appearances a year at conventions and minor league hockey games as a Hanson brother.
    He said, 'At the end of these things, people always come up to us and say thank you, and I say, 'No, thank you.'
