Why she might be annoying:

    She was named for her grandmother but took her mother’s maiden name instead.
    Her first significant news assignment at NBC was Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial.
    The day after she announced her departure from NBC, CNN announced she had been hired.
    Though she was named as a successor to Katie Couric for the Today Show, she was passed over for Meredith Vieira.
    She is a chatterbox.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She achieved a bachelor’s degree in Political Science/International Relations.
    Upon graduation, she went to the former Czechoslovakia for a year to teach English.
    She had a storied tenure at NBC, from the Pentagon to the White House to substituting for Brian Williams on Nightly News, and ultimately Weekend Today.
    She has beautiful legs.
