Starred on soap operas; The Guiding Light, The Young and the Restless, and Santa Barbara
Starred on prime time series Jake and the Fatman and Human Target
Prime Time guest roles include; Dallas, Charles in Charge, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent and both Mike Hammer TV series

Why she might be annoying:

Despite her talent and having built a more than respectable career, she's never been able to advance beyond working actress status.
She been married and divorced twice.
Her publicity has been so bad over the course of her career that few people realize that the woman appearing in the Huey Lewis music videos, the soap operas, the X-Files and various prime time shows was the same woman.
She appeared in a soft core porn film early in her career.
She sometimes spells her first name Signey.
A Best Supporting Actress Award from the Soap Opera Digest is the only award she has ever won for her acting.
