Why he might be annoying
He was addicted to cocaine, and stated that he has probably tried every drug on the street.
His cocaine abuse nearly threw away his pro career.
He claims he has tried to commit suicide three or four times in his life.
Tampa Bay gave him a $3.96 million dollar signing bonus upon drafting him, and he threw that money away.
He once burned his left hand with four lit cigarettes.
His arms are covered in tattoos.
Why he might not be annoying
He is now drug-free.
After cleaning up his life, he was given a second chance with the Cincinnati Reds, and made an immediate impact for the team.
Although he says he has tried nearly every drug, he said the one thing he refused to try was steroids.
He is left-handed.
