    His horrible performance as mayor of Cleveland earned him the nickname 'Dennis the Menace.'
    He opposes free trade and capitalist economics.
    He is from the far-left division of the Democratic party.
    Even as the US is under threat of terrorist attacks, he wants to shrink the size of the US military.
    He is a vegan.
    He favors a complete removal of US forces from Iraq.
    In a TV interview, he said that he would oppose the death penalty in any case, even for Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
    He supports the ABM treaty, which would prevent the US from developing a missile shield to protect itself from countries like North Korea.
    He has voted for restrictions on abortions but refused to support Supreme Court nominees who opposed Roe V. Wade, the legal case that granted abortion rights.
    He believes the UN is able to handle all security, reconstruction, and economic matters in Iraq.
    He voted against the deposition of Slobodan Milosevic by the Clinton administration.
    He supports complete drug legalization.
    He has been married and divorced twice.
    He supports affirmative action.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He defeated incumbents twice, when running for the Ohio State Senate and US House.
    Even though his views effectively nullify his presidential campaign, he sticks to them.
    He voted for a constitutional amendment protecting the US flag and an amendment protecting equal gender rights.
    He was the youngest mayor, at age 31, of a major American city.
    He is an advocate for human rights in Third World countries.
