Why he might be annoying:

    He had a very uninspired haircut.
    He tainted a perfectly-good career by playing a season past his prime with the San Diego Chargers.
    He appeared on 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete.'
    He walked very strange.
    He was divorced.
    He married his second wife just an hour after he got divorced.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was turned down by many top colleges, like Notre Dame and Indiana, yet became one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
    He actually requested that his name be deleted from Colts record books when they moved the Indianapolis.
    When he was released early in his NFL career, he had to hitchhike his way home.
    He played semi-pro football between his college and NFL stints.
    He did a guest appearance on 'The Simpsons.'
    He was ranked #32 on ESPN's Sportscentury's Greatest Athletes of the 20th Century.
