Why he might be annoying:

His real name is similar to another wrestler, Terry Funk.
He has injured numerous wrestlers by hitting them with chairs and putting them through tables.
In 1995, he didn't show up at an important ECW show because he was double-booked in Japan.
As a result, the promotion buried him, leading the fans to chant, 'Fuck Sabu!' at the ECW Arena.

He was trained by his uncle, the original Sheik (Ed Farhat).
He decided to be a big star in a little corporation (ECW) rather than a little star in a big corporation (WWE).
Paul Heyman called him 'The most suicidal, homicidal, genocidal, death-defying athlete on the face of the planet.'
He has had some great feuds with Chris Benoit, Rob Van Dam, Shane Douglas, Terry Funk, Cactus Jack and Taz.
He is truly one of the few real hardcore wrestlers that puts his body on the line no matter what.
