    He became an executive for Amway.
    He had no plans to become an actor until he was spotted by an MGM scout during a nationwide talent search for 'The Yearling.'
    He received a miniature Oscar for his performance in 'The Yearling.'
    He served as executive director of the San Francisco Film Festival, manager of the San Francisco Opera House and Director of Cultural Affairs for San Francisco.
