    He played for both Sox baseball teams.
    His nickname has been used by many catchers with his stature.
    He won the 1972 Rookie Of The Year award, despite making his debut in 1969.
    He had a trademark of keeping a wad of chewing tobacco inside his cheek.
    He was known to walk very slow to the mound, hence the name, 'Pudge Trudge.'
    The home run he hit in Game 6 of the World Series is one of the greatest baseball moments of all time.
    Despite numerous injuries, he still caught until he was 45.
    He is renown as baseball's most durable catcher.
    He got a motorcycle on the day of his release (1993).
