The Resume

    (May 13, 1987- )
    Born in Houston, Texas
Portrayed Caroline Forbes on Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Legacies
Appeared on ‘Dating Rules from My Future Self’ (web-series, also producer)
Appeared in ‘Juno,’ ‘Deadgirl,’ ‘Love Hurts (2009),’ and ‘After We Collided’
Co-host of Directionally Challenged (podcast, with Kayla Ewell)

Why she might be annoying:

She was a backup singer on the Best of Both Worlds tour.
Small and simple as it is, she does have a tattoo of an outlined five-point star directly on her right foot.
She considered herself ‘too chicken to give’ her future husband (guitarist for The Fray) her number; co-star Nina Dobrev did the deed.
Nominated for seven Teen Choice Awards, she won two of her first three (Scene Stealer Female, 2012 and 2014) but none after.
In her essay on her second child being born during the ‘pandemic’: ‘Where is the baby book that tells you how to navigate giving birth in a year like 2020? Forget my birth plan going out the window; this time I threw out my whole pregnancy plan!’

Why she might not be annoying:

She had an independent album (‘It’s Always the Innocent Ones,’ for which she co-authored nearly all of its 14 tracks).
Her vocal chops extended to at least one Diaries episode (‘The House Guest,’ Bangles’ ‘Eternal Flame’).
Several key Diaries cast members attended her wedding, with Ewell being a bridesmaid.
Beyond Diaries, she took on the titular role in ‘Suitcase Killer: the Melanie McGuire Story’ (a dramatic television feature about a nurrse serving a life sentence for murdering her husband).
Wouldn’t be hard to imagine her starring in The Anne Heche Story, either.
