    Born in Glendale, California
    Infielder for the Cincinnati Reds (1986-87), Kansas City Royals (1988-91), San Diego Padres (1992-93), California Angels (1993) and the Texas Rangers (1996)
    He was a switch hitter.
    He played on five different teams during his career.
    He spent two seasons out of the majors before returning for a brief stint with the Texas Rangers.
    He was considered a weak hitter by baseball pundits.
    He is the son of former Washington Senators infielder Ron Stillwell.
    Following his playing career in baseball, he actively took up fly fishing.
    He voluntarily played second base upon being traded to the Padres.
    He played shortstop for the American League in his lone All-Star appearance (1988).
