Why he might be annoying:

Many Muppet fans despise him for selling his father's company to Disney.
They also blame him for over-commercializing the franchise.
Many people assume he performs Kermit the Frog, but it's actually Steve Whitmire.
He dropped out of college.
He defends Barney the Purple Dinosaur.
One critic called him ‘the gaylord who ruined the Muppets.'

Why he might not be annoying:

As a little boy, he appeared on the very first episode of ‘Sesame Street.'
He did puppets in his father's movies at 17.
He sued Disney for trying to back out of the Muppet sale after Jim Henson died.
He won an Emmy for his work on ‘Muppets Tonight.'
He says: ‘My dad's message was that we should respect others for how they're different from us, not how they're similar.'
He doesn't think people should hold grudges.
