    Backfield for Furman University (1948)
    Assistant coach for the University of Wyoming (1949-52), University of Arkansas (1953-54), University of Tennessee (1964-73), Denver Broncos (1986) and the Minnesota Vikings (1987)
    SEC Player of the Year (1938)
    Head baseball coach for the University of Tennessee (1958-62)

Why he might be annoying:

    He tossed interceptions more than touchdowns.
    He got into an injury which kept from playing in most of the 1939 Rose Bowl game.
    He was drafted by the Cardinals but never played a game for them.
    He performance in three games with the Dodgers after he left the military were a disappointment which led to his trade to the Redskins.
