He wrote/directed and starred in three of the worst movies of all time, 'Beast of the Yucca Flats,' 'The Skydivers' and 'Night Train to Mundo Fine.'
He repeatedly casted Tony Cardoza, George Prince, Harold Saunders, and members of his own family into his films.
He smoked.
He was obese.

Why he might not be annoying:

Coleman was uncredited in seven different movies.
He resembles Curly Howard.
He died of arteriosclerosis.
In the years after his films were released, it was hard for him to get roles in other movies. He had to settle for mediocre bit parts in B movies.
His films gained cult status after being featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000.
