    They were one-hit wonders in the US, where ‘Love Plus One’ was their only Top 40 hit.
    Lead singer and songwriter Nick Heyward left during the recording sessions for their second album, which flopped without him.
    They had four top ten hits in Britain.
    ’Smash Hits’ wrote that they did ‘for jazz-funk what Dexy’s did for R&B.’
    Heyward rejoined the other members for VH1’s ‘Bands Reunited.’ (2004)
