Their original name – The Reckless – posed a few trademark issues.

On one of their early tours, they opened for… The Veronicas.
It took only seven live shows to change the band layout.
‘Heaven Knows’ peaked at #14 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

Why they might not be annoying:

They cite Evanescence as an inspiration — though Amy Lee was astonished at the comparison.
They also cite Nirvana and The Beatles as inspirations.
They were supporting acts for Marilyn Manson and Guns N’ Roses.
As evidenced by ‘The Words — Under the Water,’ Momsen has no problem getting naked for video clips.
Who would have imagined Cindy Lou Who blossoming into a hearts-and-flowers Gossip Girl type and eventually an acerbic rock chick?
