He dropped out of Columbia to become a follower of guru Sri Chinmoy.

He frequently makes up new categories to set records in.
Why he might not be annoying
Although some of his records may draw laughter, he says they all require a good deal of determination, concentration and fitness.
He achieved a personal goal of setting records on all seven continents after hula hooping for the fastest mile at Ayers Rock in Australia and completing the fastest mile on a pogo stick in Antarctica.
He said, 'When someone breaks one of my records, I'm happy because he's just raised the bar.'
