Why he might be annoying:

He is heavy for a running back.
When Chuck Knox retired as head coach of the Rams, his replacement traded Bettis to the Steelers because 'he didn’t fit in with their team.'
After getting injured for the early part of the 2005 season, he lost his starting job to Willie Parker.
He was once on the MTV series, ‘Punk’d.’
He nearly threw away the Steelers’ playoff upset over the Colts by fumbling the ball away to the Colts in the final minutes. Luckily for Bettis and the Steelers, his quarterback made a tackle to prevent the touchdown, and the Colts kicker badly missed the game-tying field goal.

Why he might not be annoying:

He retired after winning Superbowl XL (February 5, 2006).
He was one of the most difficult players to bring down.
He was nicknamed ‘The Bus’ because of the way he plows over defenders.
He’s a skilled bowler, and has bowled a perfect score of 300.
He has asthma, and promotes asthma control.
He played through incredible pain, but says that playing every Sunday for the fans is worth it.
He is one of the most beloved players.
In high school, he was a standout at running back and linebacker.
His parents attended every single NFL game he played in.
