    Acted in 'Saturday Afternoon (1926),' 'Tramp, Tramp, Tramp (1926),' 'Soldier Man (1926),' 'The Strong Man (1926),' 'Long Pants (1927),' 'Three's A Crowd (1928),' 'Heart Trouble (1930),' 'Hallelujah, I'm a Bum (1933)' and 'Zenobia (1939)'
    Founded the movie company, the Harry Langdon Corporation (1926)
    He had a huge ego and was difficult to get along with.
    He ran away from home at twelve to join the circus.
    He married four times and divorced thrice.
    He and Frank Capra worked together on several films, with Capra directing.
    Believing he would make a superior director, he fired Capra from his movie company.
    His attempts at directing failed miserably, bankrupting his film company.
    He tried to make a few comeback films during the sound era, but they flopped.
    He was reduced to appearing in low-budget B-films by the end of his career.
    He became famous in the role of a man with the heart of a child.
    As a child, his voice was damaged by a quack doctor treating an illness.
    One of his first experiences in the film industry was working under Mack Sennett.
    He was a writer for Laurel and Hardy comedy shorts.
    He got rid of his cockiness and became a nice man after numerous failures in the film industry.
    He died of a cerebral hemorrhage (1944).
    He is sometimes ranked with Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Harold Lloyd as one of the greatest comedians of the silent era.
