Why he might be annoying:

    'Air Bud' was his only movie and a sappy one at best.
    Disney Productions tapped into the well four more times without him, churning out 'Air Bud: Golden Receiver (1998),' 'Air Bud: World Pup (2000),' 'Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch (2002)' and 'Air Bud: Spikes Back (2003).'
    He was often confused with President Bill Clinton's dog of the same name.
    He's been dead since 1998 but still has his own website.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was rescued as a stray and quickly learned tricks.
    He did his own basketball stunts.
    Besides shooting baskets, he was an adept goalkeeper, stopping soccer balls and hockey pucks, as well as catching baseballs and running pass patterns in football.
    He guested on 'Late Night With David Letterman' and appeared in an episode of 'Full House.'
    Shortly after production wrapped on 'Air Bud,' he developed synovial cell sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, and had one of his hind legs amputated to prevent it from spreading. But the cancer had spread and he died in his sleep (1998).
    Shortly before his death he sired a litter of nine puppies (December 31, 1997).
    In his career he made close to 23,000 baskets.
    In his prime, he hooked up with some fine bitches.
