    (June 18, 1927-August 1, 1998)
    Born in Budapest, Hungary
    Oft married Hungarian born actress
    Real name: Eva Ivanova Szoke
Movies include: 'The Crimson Pirate,' 'Spaceways,' 'The Gamma People,' 'SOS Pacific,' 'Orient Express,' and 'The Front Page Story'
She was married and divorced five times. Of the five marriages, four lasted less than two years and the fifth lasted four years.
    She smoked.
She claimed to have been healed of ovarian cancer by a mystic.
She was unsure who the father of her daughter was, but, did have it narrowed down to her then husband, actor Curt Jurgens or Frank Sinatra, with whom she had a brief affair.
She retired from acting at age forty to dedicate her life to her new religion of Subud.
She was never even nominated for any type of award for her acting.
Her Jewish father and Catholic mother were murdered by the Nazis.
To avoid death in the concentration camps, she 'married' a Nazi officer who sexually abused her in a horrific fashion. The marriage was annulled after the war on the rather obvious grounds that it involved the coercion of a minor.
While trying to make it as an actress in London after the war, she had to make her own clothes and did such a good job of it that the clothes got her the notice she needed to get acting roles.
She was an excellent actress who never got her due, performed well in a variety of roles, and did femme fatale particularly well.
In addition to her films, she was a very good and experienced stage actress.
Being a Catholic with a Jewish father and having been married to a Nazi officer and being an actress, she had to flee Hungary's communist government to avoid the gulag.
