His inability to cross a balance beam on the first immunity challenge resulted in his tribe losing.
The formation of the 'Fat Five' alliance saved him from the first one eliminated.
He lied to Eliza and Julie by falsely confirming their safety in the game, then was integral in voting both of them out.
He told Julie she was like a sister to him moments before he voted her out.
The players that made up the jury had mostly bitter words for him.
Julie had to fight back tears because she was so hurt by him.
Scout called him 'a bull shitter' and Eliza called him 'a bitch.'
He wears his hair in a ponytail.
While competing in an immunity challenge with his fiancee, he guilt tripped her to make her think their loss meant he would be voted out.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's the ultimate comeback kid of 'Survivor,' dodging an early boot and making it through the destruction of his tribe to win the game.
He single handedly took down an alliance of six women.
He's the first male to win 'Survivor' in two years.
He was able to understand how the women were thinking and sympathize with them.
He said: 'You question a woman's character, you question a woman's ability, she'll snap your neck. You open up your heart and show a woman you are vulnerable then they start thinking with their heart. That's when they open up that back door.'
He wants to become a teacher and says he is most proud of entertaining a class of fourth graders on career day.
