He threatened to file his retirement papers if he didn't get a raise from the Alouettes.
He was benched during a game after he taped up his ankle, despite his coach's protest to the practice.
He played on three different teams during a three year span.

He was the last star player for the original Alouettes franchise.
He recorded a three touchdown game against the Toronto Argonauts (1979).
He earned the Grey Cup offensive MVP honors in a losing cause (1979).
He played for the Browns during the strike-shortened 1982 season.
He was inducted into the Edinboro University Hall of Fame (1998).
