Why he might not be annoying
He doesn't 'tweet' mundane details of his daily life like many Twitter users do.
His 'tweets' are actual funny things said by his dad.
His hilarious quotes include 'Pressure? Get married when you want. Your wedding's just one more day in my life I can't wear sweat pants,' 'Mom and I saw a great movie last night...No, don't remember the name. It was about a guy or, no, wait.. fuck, getting old sucks.' and 'You look just like Stephen Hawking...Relax, I meant like a non-paralyzed version of him. Feel better?... Fine. Forget I said it.'
As of late winter 2010, his Twitter profile has 1.7 million followers.
The success of his microblog has led to a publishing deal and a pilot for a CBS sitcom renamed 'Stuff My Dad Says' starring William Shatner .
Although his dad comes off as arrogant and crude, he declares his father a cool person.
