Early in filming 'The Sound of Music,' she fell down, knocking a hole in a screen, and said of director Robert Wise, 'I don't think he ever forgave me.'

After leaving acting, she became a professional skier.
She founded her own floral and interior design company.
She was one of four florists chosen to provide flower arrangements for the Republican National Convention (2008).
