Comedic 'mockumentary' behind the scenes look at Jim Henson's Muppets working at a late night TV show starring Miss Piggy.

Why The Muppets (2015) might be annoying:

It's rating were very poor and it was cancelled after less than one full season.
The humor was occasionally shockingly (for a children's show) adult oriented including jokes about gay sex.
Waaay too serious and waaay too adult oriented.
The critics liked it.
The Muppets like going out and getting drunk?
The Parents Television Council and the American Family Association both launched boycotts against it due to its adult oriented content.
A mid-season retooling failed.
It didn't have the musical numbers that have been associated the Muppets and their shows and movies over the years.

Why The Muppets (2015) might not be annoying:

It's The Muppets! How can anybody not like The Muppets?
It initially did well in the ratings.
It had some very good guest stars including; Willie Nelson, Christina Applegate, Reese Witherspoon, Laurence Fishburne, and Jason Bateman.
Appropriately enough, it had a bright and colorful 'look' that was fun to watch.
