    Formed in Boston, Massachusetts
    Amanda Palmer - Vocals/Piano
    Brian Viglione - Drums/Guitar

They paint their faces like mimes and wear dark, gothic clothing.
Many of their songs are dark and emotion.
Amanda doesn't always shave her armpits.
She also draws crazy patterns for her eyebrows.
Contrastly, Brian is quiet and submissive whereas Amanda is flamboyant and outspoken.
They're not music snobs and have a diverse taste in music ranging from Thelonious Monk to Black Sabbath to Avril Lavinge.
In their DVD ‘Paradise' both Amanda and Brian appear partially nude.
They've grown a strong fan base through passionate and unique live shows.
Amanda keeps an online dairy and reveals much about herself and Brian on it.
