Why Utah Starzz might be annoying:

Their team name was a partial ripoff of the old ABA franchise that played in the city during the 1970's.
They finished in last place in their first three seasons, and no higher then third place during their franchise history.
They had a rotating carousel of head coaches in a three year span.
They were owned by Larry H. Miller, who acquired a team to fill dates for the Delta Centre, and opted to offload it when it wasn't making money.
They lost their first and last games in franchise history.

Why Utah Starzz might not be annoying:

They were one of the WNBA's eight charter franchises.
Former Jazz head coach Frank Layden came out of retirement to coach them for the 1998 season.
The unorthodox spelling of their team name was a result of their co-branding with the Jazz and still be able to pay homage to the old Utah Stars franchise.
They drafted 7'2 Polish center Margo Dydek with the first overall pick in the 1998 WNBA Draft.
