Organization

The Resume

    (1982-)
Responsible for negotiating virtually all the industry-wide guild and union contracts in film and television industries
Negotiates 80 industry-wide collective bargaining agreements on behalf of over 350 motion picture and television producers

Why they might be annoying:

They have overseen 3 labor stoppages.
No one has ever known about the AMPTP or what it has stood for except during a labor stoppage.
They tried to blame the WGA for hurting the 'below the line' workers in the entertainment industry.
They made a lame and illogical argument that no money can be made from the internet (Then why does iTunes charge for downloading songs?).

Why they might not be annoying:

They make bargaining and collective deals with the many guilds that the entertainment business depends on.
Without the AMPTP, your shows and movies would go out of business since the people in the entertainment business are mostly to strike if their demands are not met.
