    Led Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
    Recorded the albums 'I Don't Want to Go Home' (1976), 'This Time It's For Real' (1977), 'Hearts of Stone' (1978), 'The Jukes' (1979), 'Love Is a Sacrifice' (1980), 'Trash It Up' (1983), 'In the Heat' (1984), 'At Least We Got Shoes' (1986), 'Better Days'(1991), 'Spittin Fire' (1997), 'Going to Jukesville' (2002) and 'Into the Harbour' (2005)
    He started in a group called the Blackberry Booze Band.
    He spent his career overshadowed by that other New Jersey rocker.
    In the early 80s, he abandoned his traditional blue-eyed soul sound to try disco and then AOR.
    He recorded the theme song for 'Dave's World,' a cover of Billy Joel's 'You May Be Right.'
    Steve Van Zandt was an Asbury Juke before joining the E Street Band.
    Several other Asbury Jukes joined the Max Weinberg 7.
    He recorded several unreleased Bruce Springsteen songs.
    He and the Asbury Jukes were dubbed 'the World's Greatest Bar Band.'
    He said, 'I think the internet is a godsend for artists like me who don't want to deal with record companies.'
