The Resume

    (1996-2018)
    Born in Detroit, Michigan
    Original members:
    Eminem
    Proof
    Peter S. Bizarre
    Kon Artis
    Kuniva
    Bugz
Bugz died in 1999, replaced by Swifty McVeigh
Recorded the albums ‘Devil’s Night’ (2001) and ‘D12 World’ (2004)
Members other than Eminem appeared in ‘The Longest Yard’ (2005)

Why they might be annoying:

Eminem overshadowed the rest of the band.
They got thrown off the 2001 Warped tour after physically attacking Esham (whose song ‘Chemical Imbalance’ dissed Eminem and daughter Hailey).
They turned down an offer to record ‘In Da Club,’ which became a hit for 50 Cent instead.
At various times, a band member would declare that their third album would be coming out soon, but it had not been released by the time the group’s breakup was announced.

Why they might not be annoying:

Both their albums debuted at #1 in the US.
The members (other than Eminem) were stranded in Britain temporarily after the 9/11 attacks; while there, they collaborated with Gorillaz on the song ‘911.’
Each living member got a tattoo of Bugz’s name.
They showed a sense of humor about the ‘Who is in this group besides Eminem?’ question on the single ‘My Band.’
