Why she might be annoying:

Growing up, she was a daddy's girl as she was her father's favorite.
She was homeschooled until the age of eight.
She sold her first camera soon after buying it due to loss of interest. (1901)
She divorced her husband after nineteen years of marriage that produced three sons due to travel reasons. (June 1934)

Why she might not be annoying:

She took photos of celebrities in an unflattering manner, showing them who they are instead of how they looked best.
Additionally, the photos she took are sharply defined in quality.
Her personal philosophy was to 'draw out the best qualities of an image and present it to the viewer without perceiving it in a notion of beauty in the external'.
She remained pretty active in photography even during her old age.
