Why he might be annoying
He is known as the first King of England, yet at the time of his rule there was no concept of England as a nation.
In his greedy aspirations for more land, he conquered Wales.
He offered the Welsh this proposition: 'they could either leave England within six months, or they could leave the world.'
He had a goofy name.
