    Cameo appearance in 'Adventures in Babysitting' (1987)
    Nicknamed 'the Ice Man,' 'the Razor Blade' and 'the Master of the Telecaster'
    His 'Ice Man' nickname inspired the titles of a lot of his instrumentals: 'The Freeze,' 'Sno-Cone,' 'Frosty,' 'Thaw Out,' etc.
    During a two-year period (1974-75), he quit the music biz entirely and became a construction worker (including working on Neil Diamond's house).
    He made a wine cooler ad with Bruce Willis.
    During live shows, attached to the amplifier by a 150-foot cord, he would come down from the stage and mingle with the audience while still playing.
    He was part of the 80s blues revival.
    He has a signature Telecaster model from Fender Guitar.
    He was cited as an influence by Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
