    Real name: Richard Ihetu

Why he might be annoying:

His name, especially when you reverse it, sounds like an Asian porn actor.
When he defended his light-heavyweight title against Bob Foster, it was one of the few times in boxing history that the champion was the underdog versus the challenger.
He was only five foot seven, but for some reason, claimed to be five foot eight.
Like many fighters, he blew his winnings during his career and took a job as a guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York after he retired.
His KO loss to Bob Foster is one of the most spectacular in boxing history and is a staple on any boxing highlight reel.
He appeared on the idiotic game show 'What's My Line?'

Why he might not be annoying:

He is very possibly the finest African born professional boxer of all time.
Short for a middleweight at five foot seven and virtually a midget by light-heavyweight standards, (second shortest light-heavyweight champion ever next to Dwight Muhammad Qawi) he more than overcame his height disadvantage to be a champion in both divisions and hall of famer.
He bravely fought for Biafran independence in his home country.
In 1968, at 39 years old, he won his second Ring Magazine Fight of the Year honors by beating a fighter ten years younger than him.
He died at the tragically young age of 42 from liver cancer.
He had great endurance, a great chin and had a distinct style that combined head in your chest aggressiveness with superb counter-punching and excellent boxing basics.
He had unmatched courage and drive.
He had a beautiful speaking voice.
