Why he might be annoying:

Those close to him say he jogs barefoot most mornings.
He built a large ‘Zen garden' on his tribe's beach and was less than happy when Courtney decided to use it during her yoga session.
He had the unfortunate luck of being sent to Exile Island two consecutive times.
He hid in the outhouse with Bobby (and Bobby's ‘deuce') when they shared the remaining reward wine bottle between them.
He is only the third Asian-American contestant to play the game (after Shii Ann Huang and Daniel Lue).

Why he might not be annoying:

His luxury item was a sketchbook, which he used to replicate one of the scenes on his tribe's beach.
He lived with painful constipation and abdominal cramps for four days before Shane, Courtney and the medics carried him off the camp due to severe pain.
Because the doctors found that he had colon and bladder blockage, Bruce was not able to return to the game.
Fellow tribemates Danielle saw him as a father figure and Terry praised him for being a fighter.
He has been married to his wife Nancy for over 28 years.
