Why they might be annoying:

Their one international success, ‘Live It Up,’ did not become a hit in Europe until it was re-released after being featured in ‘Crocodile Dundee.’
Perhaps hoping to replicate that success, they contributed songs to the Yahoo Serious flops ‘Young Einstein’ and ‘Reckless Kelley.’
De Lisle filed a successful wrongful dismissal suit after being fired at the end of a 2004 tour.

Why they might not be annoying:

The group formed in art school, and most of their album covers, promotional posters, and music videos were designed by members of the band.
Elvis Costello heard them while touring Australia and produced their single ‘I Didn’t Mean To Be Mean’ (1982).
They performed at Oz for Africa, the Australian version of Live Aid (July 13, 1985).
They were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Hall of Fame (2009).
