Why he might be annoying:

He unsuccessfully ran for a Wisconsin state Senate seat (2004).
He wanted to ban same sex marriage because kids desperately need a mom and a dad.
He publicly criticized the economic stimulus package, but, his law firm worked to get stimulus money for its clients.
He declared the GOP was part of the Tea Party movement.
His bid for RNC Chair was not backed by Speaker of the House John Boehner.

Why he might not be annoying:

He graduated Miami Law School.
He interned with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
He served as Chairman of the Republican Party in Wisconsin's 1st Congressional district.
With a name like Reince Priebus, some liberals mocked Obama 'birthers' by requesting to see Reince's birth certificate.
Challenges he faced as incoming RNC Chair included uniting different factions of the GOP (moderates, social conservatives, Tea Partiers, etc.) and winning back GOP donors lost during Michael S. Steele's temultuous tenure.
