    He received little exposure in his earlier seasons as a result of playing on a poor White Sox team.
    He does the 'bat flip' after hitting home runs.
    He was considered the face of the White Sox during the late 2010's.
    He is involved in many community initiatives in Chicago's South Side to get kids involved in baseball.
    He advocates for initiatives to make baseball appealing for African-Americans.
    He played his college baseball at East Central Community College, before he was drafted by the White Sox.
