NBA Rookie of the Year (1982)

Why he might be annoying:

He went by the redneck name of 'Buck' instead of his given birth name of Charles.
He spent the early stages of his career on some atrocious Nets teams.
He wore goggles on the court during the early stages of his career.
Some basketball pundits felt he didn't receive mainstream recognition as a result of playing in New Jersey.
Despite being considered a Nets legend, he finished his playing career with the rival Knicks.

He was a hard-nosed player who was willing to give his all every shift.
He was a member of both the Trail Blazers teams that reached the NBA Finals in the early 1990's.
He left the Nets franchise as it's all time leader in games played, points and rebounds.
He was a durable forward, who only missed one game during his career.
