Why she might be annoying:

She bought Chris Steak House (opened in 1927 in New Orleans) with the provision, that if she moved location she must change the restaurant name.
Hurricane Betsy destroyed the Steak House after she owned it for 5 months.
In 1976, a fire totally destroyed the steak house, so she moved.
Forced to rename her new location, she chose 'Ruth's Chris Steak House.'
The name is so goofy that on the TV show, 'Taxi,' when Jim bought Mario's he renamed it 'Jim's Mario Restaurant.'
She smokes cigars.

Why she might not be annoying:

Many restaurant guides rate her restaurants at, or very near the top (Bruce prefers Morton's and Peter Luger).
Her steaks are served sizzling and still cooking on their plate.
Ruth admits she hates the name of the Steak House, but have found one benefit, people stopped calling her Chris.
Despite divorce, hurricane destruction and fire, she is ultra successful.
