Why he might be annoying
He started in show biz at age two, appearing onstage with his grandfather in 'Hellzapoppin.'
The voice of the Robot - including the iconic catchphrase 'Danger, Will Robinson!' - was done by announcer Dick Tufeld.
He would take cigarette breaks inside the suit, with smoke coming out of the robot.
Why he might not be annoying
Producer Irwin Allen told him, 'If you can fit in the suit, you've got the job.'
He called the Robot suit his 'home away from home.'
He was a popular regular at sci-fi conventions.
His home was destroyed by a wildfire (November, 2008).
