She claimed to not like candy, but she enjoyed eating a kind of dried cheese called kurt.
She was married twice.

She grew up as an orphan.
She was widowed at the Battle of Stalingrad.
Only three of her children were alive at the time of her death.
She had a good sense of humor.
Some of her grandchildren have mental illnesses.
She could still sing in her old age.
