    He is divorced and blames his travelling schedule on the demise of his marriage.
    His cover version of Eddie Rabbitt's 'Drivin' My Life Away' is best remembered for being on the soundtrack for the 1998 movie 'Black Dog.'
    He changed record labels three times, prior to being an independent artist.
    He worked for his father's oil distribution company, prior to pursuing a music career.
    He recorded a minor string of successful hits in the mid to late 1990's.
    He, along with Georgia natives Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, are considered 'The Peach Pickers' songwriting trio.
    He and Thomas became the first father/son tandem in country music history to write five songs on the country music Top 10 charts at the same time.
