    American League MVP (1970)

    He got his nickname as a mischievous child, when his parents would ask 'What's that little booger up to now?'
    He was injury-prone his first seven years in the majors.
    He commented, 'You make one Lite commercial, it's like then everyone forgets you played ball for twenty years.'
    He became alarmingly obese in retirement.

    He was a two-time Comeback Player of the Year (1966,1975).
    One of the most beloved Orioles, he signs up to 500 autographs a night.
    An avid angler, he frequently joins the governor of Maryland to officially kick off the fishing season.
